Embark on an unforgettable 9-day, 8-night mystical escape in the heart of Mexico’s Riviera Maya. Playa del Carmen, a vibrant coastal city renowned for its turquoise waters, lively culture, and awe-inspiring underwater landscapes, serves as your gateway to the world’s most famous cenotes. Relax in the luxurious comfort of the 4-star Carmen Oceanfront Hotel, where modern elegance meets breathtaking sea views—an ideal retreat to unwind after each day’s adventures. The Yucatán Peninsula is the only place on Earth where you’ll find these enchanting underwater rock formations. Formed over 8,000 years ago, the region’s limestone platform gave way to sinkholes, known as cenotes, after the last Ice Age. Derived from the Mayan word “Dzonot,” meaning sacred well, cenotes were once believed by the ancient Maya to be portals to the mythical underworld.
