Specialty instructor courses provide teaching tips and hands-on experience that you can implement right away. With 25 standard PADI Specialty Diver courses, and numerous distinctive specialties, you have lots to choose from - so get going.

All PADI Instructors will benefit from taking specialty instructor training courses, especially those who are ready to step up to the Master Scuba Dive Trainer (MSDT) rating, which requires at least five PADI Specialty Instructor certifications.​

Prerequisites

  • PADI Instructor or currently participating in or completed an IDC/OWSI Program within the past 12 months. IDC/OWSI candidates may apply for Specialty Instructor certification only after passing an IE.
  • Certified 25 divers
  • No more than five from courses without dives.
  • No more than five from PADI Seal Team or Master Seal Team registrations.
  • 20 dives in the specialty area
  • Agree to use the PADI Specialty Course Instructor Guide by signing the statement on the application or submit an instructor-authored outline to your PADI Office for review.
  • Additional prerequisites for certain specialty courses:
  • Adaptive Techniques — training in adaptive techniques and/or experience training divers with disabilities from a dedicated diving organization
  • Equipment Specialist Instructor rating — equipment manufacturer’s repair clinic attendance, or written equipment repair authorization from a manufacturer. No logged dives are necessary.
  • Emergency Oxygen Provider Instructor rating — PADI Emergency Oxygen Provider certification (or qualifying certification)
  • Cavern — full Cave Diver certification by a recognized cave diving certification organization
  • Enriched Air — PADI Enriched Air Diver certification (or qualifying certification)
  • Ice — PADI Ice Diver certification (or comparable certification)
  • Public Safety Diver — PADI Master Scuba Diver Trainer, PADI Dry Suit Specialty Instructor, PADI Full Face Mask Specialty Instructor, three additional PADI Specialty Instructor ratings (search and recovery, night, underwater navigator, emergency oxygen provider, and/or limited visibility distinctive), current Emergency First Response Instructor, proof of affiliation with a public safety diver team, one year Professional Membership 191 public safety diving experience with 20 missions or if an instructor – 10 missions and 10 public safety diver certifications and proof of Incident Command Training Level 200 (or regional equivalent)
  • Self-Reliant — PADI Self-Reliant Diver certification (or comparable certification) or TecRec Diver
  • Sidemount — PADI Sidemount Diver certification (or comparable rating) or proof of 50 dives using Sidemount configuration

When will my order be shipped?

We know the excitement to receive an item after purchase and which is why, a big part of our efforts has gone into ensuring we deliver your orders at the earliest.

Standard shipping is 2-3 working days (excl. weekends) in Dubai and 4-5 days across all other emirates.

When you choose express shipping, enjoy delivery within 24 hours across Dubai and Sharjah and within 48 hours across all other emirates at a small fee.

That’s not all, standard shipping is on us for all orders above AED 2,000 in Dubai and AED 3,000 in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi (excl. Al Ain), Fujairah and RAK.

Do I need to be there to receive my order?

Our delivery captain always prefers to hand deliver your order, however we understand sometimes you may not be home. In this case we require, someone from your family or a security personnel to receive the order on your behalf. Note they are required to share a picture of their Emirates ID for security reasons.

Do you offer exchange/refunds?

If the dive gear has return or exchange option available, it should be returned to DiveCampus in its original condition, packaging and product tags within 7 days from date of delivery/collection.

Whatsapp the below details to +971 800 72822 and if approved (response time - 24 hours), you are free to drop it to our store within 7 days of delivery/collection.

Order Number, Reason for return, Date of purchase and delivery

Your refund if approved will be credited on your payment channel 8-10 working days after the item is delivered to DiveCampus.

Rules and Conditions for Return / Exchange on Diving Gear and Equipments:

Return/Exchange can only be made within 7 days from the date of delivery/collection.

The item should be in good condition along with the original tag and not used It should also be in the same brand box you received.

For hygiene reasons, we do not offer returns on intimates (swimwear, shorts, etc.)

For safety reasons, we do not offer returns on spearguns or electronic items.

A no-return policy applies on some of our products due to their respective brand policies. Refer to the product description for details during your purchase.

DiveCampus reserves right to refund an order that is out-of-stock at the time of purchase.

No refund can be offered on custom gear or pre-ordered items.

Note all approved refunds will be only be made through original payment channel and no exceptions can be made through this rule whatsoever. DiveCampus cannot manage any refund requests that were paid through affiliates, market place or partner websites. Such refund requests should be managed by the respective channels and respective channel policy will apply.
