The PADI Tec 45 course is the second part of the full PADI Tec Deep Diver program. You'll extend your depth limit to 45 metres/145 feet and learn to plan and execute repetitive decompression dives using a single stage/decompression cylinder. It puts you in a complete tec diving rig, which can be either backmount or sidemount. You'll also make accelerated decompression dives using EANx or pure oxygen. This is a course where you'll rise to the challenge and make the commitment to become a technical diver.

Your Tec 45 training consists of:

Three knowledge development sections
Three practical application sessions
Four open water dives

Building on what you learned in the Tec 40 course, you focus on the function and maintenance of tec diving equipment and associated issues. You continue fine-tuning gas planning and calculating accelerated decompression stops. Plus, you learn to think like a technical diver.

Pre-requisites:

Be a PADI Tec 40 diver
Be a PADI Rescue Diver
Have a minimum of 50 logged dives, with at least 12 dives on enriched air nitrox deeper than 18 metres/60 feet and 6 dives deeper than 30 metres/100 feet
Be at least 18 years old
Have a Medical Statement signed by a physician within the last 12 months

Equipments requirement:

We provide the basic set up as part of the course - So Backplate-Doubles/Sidemount BCD, Twin Regulators, Stage Regulators, Wetsuit, Mask, Tanks, Weights are included in the course price.

Note however Accessories/Equipments for redundancy are not included and can be rented or purchased during the course - you need: 2 x mask, 2 x cutting tool, 1 orange and 1 yellow SMB, 1 wet note OR 1 arm slate, 2 x Dive Computer, 1 x Lift Bag, 60m Spool.

To store all of this equipment you will need your own Tec Shorts, these are not available on rent and need to be purchased. (For Sidemount Divers, Tec Shorts are not required but you will need a back pouch)

When will my order be shipped?

We know the excitement to receive an item after purchase and which is why, a big part of our efforts has gone into ensuring we deliver your orders at the earliest.

Standard shipping is 2-3 working days (excl. weekends) in Dubai and 4-5 days across all other emirates.

When you choose express shipping, enjoy delivery within 24 hours across Dubai and Sharjah and within 48 hours across all other emirates at a small fee.

That’s not all, standard shipping is on us for all orders above AED 2,000 in Dubai and AED 3,000 in Sharjah, Abu Dhabi (excl. Al Ain), Fujairah and RAK.

Do I need to be there to receive my order?

Our delivery captain always prefers to hand deliver your order, however we understand sometimes you may not be home. In this case we require, someone from your family or a security personnel to receive the order on your behalf. Note they are required to share a picture of their Emirates ID for security reasons.

Do you offer exchange/refunds?

If the dive gear has return or exchange option available, it should be returned to DiveCampus in its original condition, packaging and product tags within 7 days from date of delivery/collection.

Whatsapp the below details to +971 800 72822 and if approved (response time - 24 hours), you are free to drop it to our store within 7 days of delivery/collection.

Order Number, Reason for return, Date of purchase and delivery

Your refund if approved will be credited on your payment channel 8-10 working days after the item is delivered to DiveCampus.

Rules and Conditions for Return / Exchange on Diving Gear and Equipments:

Return/Exchange can only be made within 7 days from the date of delivery/collection.

The item should be in good condition along with the original tag and not used It should also be in the same brand box you received.

For hygiene reasons, we do not offer returns on intimates (swimwear, shorts, etc.)

For safety reasons, we do not offer returns on spearguns or electronic items.

A no-return policy applies on some of our products due to their respective brand policies. Refer to the product description for details during your purchase.

DiveCampus reserves right to refund an order that is out-of-stock at the time of purchase.

No refund can be offered on custom gear or pre-ordered items.

Note all approved refunds will be only be made through original payment channel and no exceptions can be made through this rule whatsoever. DiveCampus cannot manage any refund requests that were paid through affiliates, market place or partner websites. Such refund requests should be managed by the respective channels and respective channel policy will apply.
